Heating Equipment
Construction:
The ceramic band heater is designed with a helical internal resistance coil uniformly threaded through interlocking insulated ceramic tiles. The ceramic core, or spacer, composed of these tiles, is positioned beneath a layer of stainless steel sheet featuring serrated edges. This integrated configuration of the ceramic band heater delivers a flexible heating system capable of efficient thermal conduction and radiation. The heat source originates from the embedded coil, which conducts thermal energy under high-temperature operation. The energized coil transfers heat uniformly through the ceramic tiles, subsequently radiating the energy onto the barrel surface. We offer multiple variants of ceramic band heaters and support customized configurations based on specific requirements.
Advantage:
1.The built-in insulation layer minimizes undesired temperature variations along the barrel surface.
2.Heat is transferred through radiation, conduction, and convection, thereby eliminating the need for a perfect fit compared to conventional band heaters.
3.Heat transfer remains unaffected by irregular surfaces or loose fits.
4.Operating at a higher power density enables application across broader incremental ranges.
5.The number of heating bands required can be reduced, thereby simplifying wiring.
6.Cooler exterior surfaces relative to other band heaters enhance operational safety.
7.The flexible design facilitates easier installation and removal.
