• Q: What is the difference between a Pt100 and a Pt1000 RTD?

• A: Both are platinum RTDs. A Pt100 has a resistance of 100 ohms at 0℃, while a Pt1000 has 1000 ohms. The higher resistance of the Pt1000 makes it less susceptible to lead wire resistance errors.

• Q: What is a thermowell and why would I use one?

• A: A thermowell is a protective pressure-tight fitting that allows the temperature sensor to be removed from a pipe or tank without shutting down the process or draining the vessel.

• Q: Can you provide sanitary sensors for food processing?
