Available in a variety of shapes, sizes and wattage, the polyimide heater (Capton Foil heater) is a transparent, amber-colored polyimide film.
It is a high temperature flexible heating element with excellent dielectric properties and is able to operate in an operating environment of -185 degrees Celsius to 200 degrees Celsius.
Polyimide heaters are very thin, with a thickness of about 0.2mm, and very light, so heaters are ideal for applications with space and weight constraints.
The standard backing surface is pressure-sensitive adhesive, but special adhesive or mounting holes can be customized according to customer requirements.
